Hi Sarah,

If you are concerned about motion sickness I would recommend going in the spring or early summer as the water is calmer. We had a cruise in the winter and the ship did sway a bit. Also, grab some motion sickness medicine or bands, they do work really well.

Hi Dee,
The Disney Cruise is definitely still magical without all the overstimulation. Of course, there are some parts of the cruise that could be overstimulating like the Pirate Night Deck Party with Fireworks. But overall, I would say Disney Cruise definitely is a great option.

My little girl has a lot of sensory issues/ ASD – would the Disney Cruise be as magical without the overstimulation in your opinion?

Agree that these are two totally different vacations, with that “Disney magic” being the common thread. A cruise is definitely more relaxing.

You should hop on one of those last minute rates one of these days since you live near the ports. They have some incredible deals sometimes 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
