Thanks for gathering a lot of useful information !!
I was wondering how did you book your hotel room at Atlantis??
Did you use the travel agency ? I am looking at prices because I like the idea of booking a room
just for the parks but the minimum I have seen $500 and something (including all fees)
Thank you again !!

I agree with Deann, we did this flying in from LA and it made for a much less stressful embarkation day. Just one thing I want to add if you’re flying in the night before…if you want to bring some wine/beer with you, you can use instacart to get some local alcohol for your cruise. I roamed the airport but couldn’t find any stores selling wine bottles or 6 packs for beer.

Grand Cayman has beautiful beaches, I believe one is called 7 mile beach. I also really loved Mr. Sanchos Beach Break in Cozumel. They have a play area in the beach for the kids and some nice hammocks to lounge in. Have a great trip!

Looking for excursion recommendations for Cozumel, Falmouth Jamaica and Grand Cayman. We are travelling with 2 4-year old twins. Thanks in advance. I’m also using your packing list for the cruise!!

They let you check in early if you tell them you’re on a Disney cruise. We had an early morning flight to Orlando that left around 5am and got us there around 11am. We got the room right away, grabbed something to eat and went back to room to take a nap since we had been up since 3 am. Then enjoyed the hotel ammenties and dinner at the hotel. The next morning we were refreshed and not travel tired to start our vacation. After a great breakfast we took the short walk to the bus pick up and left on the first bus to the cruise terminal around 9am. If you stay at a Disney park hotel the bus pick ups start around 11am and the room costs more than the one inside the airport. You get to the terminal first, have no lines and have time to take pictures with characters, etc before boarding.

Cruises are definitely the BEST vacations ever! Kids have so much to do and parents have just as much fun enjoying the festivities.
We just took the Very Merry Holiday Cruise in December 2017 and it was FANTASTIC! Cookies and milk, story time with Mrs. Claus, tree lighting ceremony and a huge gingerbread house in the atrium so it smelled like cookies every time you are in the area.

Hello Beth, if you are cruising to the Caribbean the weather is still gorgeous in January with average highs in the low 80’s and lows in the 70’s. I might add a few more layers than you normally pack as it is cooler in the evenings and with those breezes onboard. But, as far as water activities go I think you will be just fine 🙂 Enjoy your cruise!

Usually we go in May, so I pack shorts, Capri, and little sundresses. Is this still “warm enough “ clothing? Is it warm enough to swim and enjoy water activities?
